Membership costs are as follows:
Professional: $30
Retired/Student/Para-professional: $20

RARC Memberships are now online (see steps below)! If you do not wish to use paypal (credit card payment) and want to write a check, please complete the paper membership form and mail it to the membership chairperson.

Please note that if you are currently a full-time or part-time teacher you should be submitting payment for the full professional rate. Full time students are those individuals who are taking at least 9 credit hours through a university program. Para-professionals are those individuals who are aides or assistants within a classroom.

1. Click membership tab and highlight become a VSRA member.
2. Complete the membership form. Dropdown boxes will appear when you click affiliation. Please highlight Richmond Area. You may select a secondary council in addition to the Richmond Area, but are not required to do so.
3. Click whether you want to pay by credit card (PayPal) or send a check.
4. Click submit to complete your application.
5. If you are paying by check, please mail it to: RARC, 4507 Newport Drive Richmond, Virginia 23227

The VSRA Membership year runs from September 1 through August 31. In order to obtain full
benefits (journal, newsletters, etc. ) membership must be received by December 15th.
